Domino park
Domino Park — officially Máximo Gómez Park — is one of the most beloved and authentic public spaces in all of Miami, located on Calle Ocho in the heart of Little Havana. For decades, Cuban elders and community members have gathered here beneath the shade trees to play dominoes, argue politics, tell stories, and keep alive the social fabric of Cuban exile culture.
For visitors, sitting at the edge of Domino Park and watching a game in progress is one of the most human and memorable experiences Miami offers. No entry fee, no agenda — just the genuine daily life of a community that has made this corner of Southwest 8th Street its own. It is a must-stop on any Little Havana walking tour.
